Wordless Wednesday

As a busy mother, its sometimes tricky to find time for one of my favorite pastimes: READING! the only thing I usually have time to read is a quick article here and there in my "ABOVE RUBIES" collection or sometimes a devotional a couple of times a week. This year I have the goal or reading more than that and this takes scheduling and commitment. Other than reading my Bible I have been able to actually "dig in" to a good book! Its quite amazing! My latest one happens to be very popular lately and what inspired me to pick it up was a You Tube Video!



I really enjoyed the video and that night dear hubby and I were shopping and he was sweet to buy me a hard copy of this particular book!

I am on the second chapter and so far i have had to put it down due to my eyes getting all blurry from the tears. IT is a FANTASTIC read and I recommend it has already my perspective on life is changing!!

Please dear wife, or mother if you get a chance to read it ...Do it! You will be forever changed....

Today I am linking up to one of my favorite Blogs "Kellys Korner" and today she is linking up families who have MANY children! We definitly fit this category...

We believe that Children are a BLESSING from the Lord Himself and LIFE is a gift from conception onward to death. We welcome any GIft the Lord would see fit to bless us with and value LIFE within the womb. Through our journey we have surrended this area of our marriage to Him and trust in His word that states:

"Lo, children are an heritage of the LORD: and the fruit of the womb is his reward. As arrows are in the hand of a mighty man; so are children of the youth. Happy is the man that hath his quiver full of them: they shall not be ashamed, but they shall speak with the enemies in the gate." Psalm 127:5

We have been blessed with 7 thus far and have children ranging from age 11 years old down to 10 months old...we have 4 girls and 3 boys and that brings a lovely mix of personalities and loads of fun!

We are so blessed by the Lord to have the honour and priveledge of raising our "tribe" of children...our days are busy , challenging and full but I would not have it any other way. Our lives are rich with Joy, Love and lots of laughter and we are thankful.

Managing a large household includes alot of patience and organization. Patience comes very easy to me whereas organization does not come naturally and I am constantly seeking new ways to effieciently run our household. I cant wait to connect with many other wives and glean wisdom from our Blog Sharing as we all have something in common and are at the same place in life as we raise our "Arrows" in the fear and admonition of the Lord! Wont you join me on this journey of being a wife, mother and homemaker and all things pertaining to womanhood....
